Terms of Service
Last updated: April 22, 2026
Note on status. ShieldPi is currently a beta security platform. Features, limits, and pricing may change as the product evolves. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, the Service is provided without warranties or SLAs.
1. Agreement
By accessing or using ShieldPi (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service provides AI security scanning, runtime monitoring, endpoint telemetry correlation, reports, alerts, and related tooling.
2. Acceptable Use
You may only use ShieldPi to scan systems that you own or have explicit written authorization to test. Specifically:
- You must have authorization from the system owner before initiating any scan
- You may not use ShieldPi to attack, disrupt, or compromise systems without authorization
- You may not use scan results to exploit vulnerabilities in systems you do not own
- You may not resell or redistribute scan results without written consent
- You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws
Violation of this section will result in immediate account termination. Unauthorized scanning activity may be reported to relevant authorities.
3. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate and current registration information
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- Notify us immediately at support@shieldpi.io if you suspect unauthorized access
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. In particular:
- Scans will not necessarily detect every vulnerability in your systems
- Security scores reflect sampled behavior, not the complete security posture of any model
- The Service may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued at any time
- Results may contain false positives or false negatives
ShieldPi is a research tool, not a guarantee of security. You remain responsible for the security of your own systems.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and its author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the beta Service is to stop using it or close your account, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your scan targets and configurations. ShieldPi retains ownership of the platform, attack-technique corpus, scoring methodology, and public leaderboard data. Aggregated, anonymized scan data may be used to improve the Service and populate the public leaderboard.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. The Service may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, particularly the Acceptable Use section. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to the retention policy (see Privacy Policy).
8. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated as the project evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
